Craig Tweten
President
Since he formed Community Contractors, Inc., in 1981, Craig has focused on balancing craftsmanship with quality materials, strict timelines, and established budgets. He works with project owners from the early stages of project development, assisting with financing setup as needed, and selecting Design Team members. Craig works closely with Developers, Architects, and Engineers to produce and finalize plans, including budgets and timelines, then coordinates and stays involved with the Project Manager(s) and Superintendent(s) on each and every job to see the project through each phase, including inspections, quality control, scheduling, and problem solving—all the way to final inspections.
Craig has a B.S. degree in industrial technology from the University of North Dakota (UND) in Grand Forks and continues growing his industry knowledge by participating in various seminars on design/build, construction management and innovation, as well as other topics. He’s actively involved in the Grand Forks Home Builders Association, Golden Eagle Club, Chamber of Commerce, Grand Forks Builders Exchange, and UND’s Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Away from the office, he particularly enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, biking, cross-country skiing, and sports of all types.
